US denies issuing any travel advisory for Pakistan

WASHINGTON: The US has denied issuing any travel advisory for Pakistan amid ongoing political turmoil in the country. Refuting a false “travel warning” for Pakistan, the US State Department’s Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) clarified that it had not issued any travel advisory for the country in June. A fake travel warning was circulating on social media platforms for the past couple of days, urging the US citizens of Pakistan origin to avoid using National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) while travelling to Pakistan. “If you are travelling to Pakistan from the US, Canada, you should not use NICOP. Four killed as truck plunges into Neelum River

MUZAFFARABAD: In a tragic turn of events on Sunday, a cargo truck traveling from Muzaffarabad to Upper Neelum Valley met with a devastating accident in the Changan area, resulting in the loss of at least four lives. According to details, the ill-fated truck was traveling from Muzaffarabad to Upper Neelum Valley when it met with an accident in Changan and plunged into the Neelum River. As news of the accident spread, locals, rescue workers, and the Pakistan Army promptly arrived at the scene and launched a rescue operation. Later, the bodies were transported to Muzaffarabad. Earlier, there was another incident in Neelum Valley where a jeep fell into the river, tragically causing the drowning of eight family members. ‘Reached Jinnah House under leadership of Yasmin Rashid’

LAHORE: Raees Ahmed, a suspected miscreant, involved in May 9 violence has revealed they reached Jinnah House as per plan under the leadership of PTI leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid.  In a video statement, Raees Ahmed, who is a resident of Swat’s Shangla district said he along with other Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers reached Jinnah House on May 9 for the attack as per the decided plan. In his confession, Raees Ahmed said that after the arrest of the former premier and PTI chief on May 9 in the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case, according to the plans ‘made by PTI’ in Zaman Park, they reached Jinnah House.
