US Army Helicopters Crash

Two US Army Blackhawk helicopters crashed in Kentucky during a training mission Wednesday night, officials said.

“The status of the crew members are unknown at this time,” army base Fort Campbell said in a statement early Thursday.

“The command is currently focused on caring for the servicemembers and their families.”

The helicopters, from the 101st Airborne Division, crashed at around 10:00 pm Wednesday in Kentucky’s Trigg county, northwest of Fort Campbell.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said fatalities were expected.

“We’ve got some tough news out of Fort Campbell, with early reports of a helicopter crash and fatalities are expected,” he said on Twitter.

He said Kentucky police and emergency management were responding.

“Please pray for all those affected,” Beshear tweeted.

Fort Campbell said the incident was under investigation.

“More information will be released as it becomes available,” it said.

Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Miss Aalia Neelum on Monday administered oath to nine new additional judges, ARY News reported.  As per details, Mr. Hassan Nawaz Makhdoom, Advocate Supreme Court, Malik Waqar Haider Awan, Advocate Supreme Court, Sardar Akbar Ali, Advocate Supreme Court, Syed Ahsan Raza Kazmi, Advocate Supreme Court, Malik Javid Iqbal Wains, Advocate Supreme Court, Mr. Muhammad Jawad Zafar, Advocate Supreme Court, Mr. Khalid Ishaq, Advocate Supreme Court, Malik Muhammad Awais Khalid, Advocate Supreme Court and Chaudhry Sultan Mahmood, Advocate Supreme Court, were administered oath as additional judges of LHC. Jason Gillespie criticizes PCB after stepping down as head coach

Former Pakistan head coach Jason Gillespie has criticised the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and its officials following quitting as head coach. Speaking to Australian media, Jason Gillespie expressed disappointment over PCB’s decision not to extend the contract of his assistant coach, Tim Nielsen. Gillespie accused PCB of poor management and lack of communication. Replying to a question regarding skipping South Africa tour, Gillespie said: “I chose not to tour South Africa because of Nielsen’s exclusion.” Gillespie further revealed his frustration with the selection process, stating, “Even a day before matches, I was unaware of the team selection details.” Despite his grievances, Gillespie acknowledged his strong bond with the players, adding, “There was great harmony among the squad.
